I am so blessed to have Terry Easter in my life.  He was the nicest guy in the world, a world he made with his outgoing personality, and his charming ways of making you see the very best in yourself. He encouraged you to trust that nothing was impossible if you believe and put your mind to it!  His love and pride for his family brought him the most joy.  From his happiest expressions of pride in his son little Terry and his beautiful daughter Anika.  He was my best friend for over 48 years! I met him at a radio station while he was getting his records played and making friends with the disc jockeys.  Never bragging because he had the biggest stars and hottest new music acts.  Getting to be Terry's friend was easy, but you knew you were lucky if he truly liked you, because his friendship meant that he would do anything in the world for you!

Example, I was working at 20th Century Fox Records when Terry told me that he was about to be the first black sales manager for Columbia Records.  He asked if I would like his promotion man job?  I said, "I'm okay," thinking I had a great paying gig - not realizing he was offering me the #1 music promoter job at the #1 record company in the world.  He finally had me when he showed me his paycheck... I said you make that much (WOW) that's when I knew I'd be crazy if I didn't come over to Columbia Records. But that was Terry. Always looking after his friends.  That gift of wanting to help me move up changed my life forever!  My best friend then became the #1 Sales Manager at Columbia Records! I joined the team and we all went to England for a convention I am forever grateful my for buddy Terry Easter!!! At that convention he taught me the real meaning of friendship!  I thank GOD for bringing Terry into my life!  Always and forever grateful!

Love, Reese
